Going against what Darren said regarding single releases, Sony Music UK has announced that 'The Best Thing' will be released as a single on February 26. UK Fans have already reported hearing "The Best Thing" on their radio. "The Best Thing" is on MTV-UK MTV Select. It's selection # 51. See how to request "The Best Thing" in SavageGarden Request Line

The band that Daniel is working with "Halogen" announced that they would be changing their name soon. They will also be launching a new website. For those of you that haven't heard..."Halogen" is a duo from Brisbane. Jenny Waite (former backing singer for Savage Garden) and Grant Wallis. They will be releasing their first record soon. 3 nominations for SG in NRJ Radio Awards

The NRJ Radio Award are taking place in Stockholm/Sweden on February 7th 2001. Savage Garden are nominated for 3 awards :
Best International Group - Savage Garden
Best International song - Affirmation - Savage garden
Best Song from Soundtrack - The Animal Song - Savage Garden
Radio NRJ are represented in these European Countries: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, France, Finland, Germany, Belgium and Austria. Everybody living in these countries can vote by logging on to their local NRJ-website www.nrj.(your local code)".  Please vote if you live in one of those countries. (Thanks to the garden of savage delights website). They will take place at the opening of the MIDEM in Cannes, January 20th 2001, at 20h50 live on TF1 and simultaneously on NRJ from the Palais des Festivals. Kanal 5 will be broadcasting NRJ Radio Awards 2001 at 20.00 February 7th.
